Alhambra : Golf Course Fees Raised

Share

Overriding objections from golfers, the City Council has voted to raise fees at Alhambra Golf Course, effective Nov. 1, and limit the amount of time the course is open to golfers who want to play nine holes instead of the full 18.

The new fee schedule raises most golf and cart fees by $1, but maintains the current fee for senior citizens at $4.50 for 18 holes and increases the nine-hole rate for senior citizens from $2.75 to $3.50. City officials said the higher rates are needed to maintain the course and provide money for improvements.
