Santa Monica : Health Group Gets Grant
The Santa Monica Area Health Action Coalition, 745 Pier Ave., has received a $16,000 grant from the California Community Foundation to continue its advocacy programs for the health care of the Westside’s low-income, uninsured and indigent population.
Also, the United Church Board for Homeland Ministries has contributed a $3,000 matching grant, according to Emily Abel, coalition chairman.
