Scripps Bank reported that its third-quarter net income increased to $137,000, up from the $52,000 reported for the same quarter last year. On a year-to-date basis, Scripps Bank’s profit stands at $374,000, up from $129,330 over the same nine months last year.

The bank’s assets as of Sept. 30 were $55.6 million, up slightly from the $55.5 million reported this time last year. Net loans stood at $39.8 million, up from $38.1 million last year, and deposits were $50.5 million, up from $48 million last year.
