Pakistan Bus-Train Crash Kills 28

At least 28 people were killed and 60 others injured today when the bus in which they were riding collided with a train at an unguarded railway crossing in southern Pakistan, police said.

The accident occurred near the provincial city of Moro, about 200 miles north of Karachi. The cause of the accident was not immediately known, police said. The bus was crowded with villagers going to a cattle fair, police said, when it slammed into the train at an unguarded crossing.
