Safeguard Health Has 110% Gain in Net Income

Safeguard Health Enterprises reported net income of $806,000 for the third quarter, up 110% from $384,000 in the year-earlier period.

The Anaheim-based provider of dental care plans said third-quarter sales rose 15% to $18 million, from $15.6 million a year earlier.

Net income for the first nine months rose 59% to $2.1 million from $1.3 million a year earlier.
