International Business Machines introduced a package of products aimed at the desktop publishing market currently dominated by Apple Computer’s popular Macintosh personal computers. IBM said the package will allow users of its Personal System/2 Models 50, 60 and 80 to create and print charts, reports and other documents without expensive typesetting equipment. Priced at $5,888, the package includes a printer, mouse and related gear.
