Mormon Leader Recovers From Minor Heart Attack

SALT LAKE CITY — Mormon Church President Ezra Taft Benson was released Saturday from a hospital where he had been recovering from a mild heart attack, a church spokesman said. Benson, 88, had been admitted to LDS Hospital Oct. 15 with “physical discomfort” and doctors said later it resulted from a minor heart attack.
