Standard Pacific LP’s Quarterly Net Doubles

Standard Pacific LP said it earned $11.3 million for the third quarter, more than double the $5.5 million reported a year earlier.

The Costa Mesa home-building company reported revenue for the third quarter of $82.9 million, up 12% from $73.9 million.

For the first nine months, Standard Pacific reported earnings of $31.5 million, an 82% increase from the year-earlier $17.3 million.

Revenue for the nine months climbed 15.4% to $229.6 million from $199 million.
