What Is the Problem? Dickerson Only Wants Top Pay for Top Work

I really do not understand what this pandemonium concerning Eric Dickerson is all about. Eric is the third-best running back in the league, right? But, his salary is No. 25, to the best of my knowledge. It would make my blood boil, too, if I’m the best--or among the best--welders in a company, but the worst paid. No decent, freedom-loving president of a bank would even consider working for an accountant’s salary.

Remember, this is free enterprise, capitalistic, Reagan America. We get the most money for our work, our talent, as much as the traffic can bear. Eric Dickerson is a star. The Rams are going down the drain anyway, so why harass their best player?
