Your barrage on former Pink Floyd leader Roger Waters’ music and work disgusted me (Faces, by Dennis Hunt, Oct. 11).

And as for David Gilmour, he’s got nerve. How dare he try to pass off his boring, contrived, downright awful album as the vintage Pink Floyd we’ve all come to appreciate and love.

I found it difficult at best to listen to “Momentary Lapse of Reason.” It’s monotonous. In complete contrast however, “Radio K.A.O.S.” is a gripping, cerebral and beautiful album of hope, humanism and spiritual unity.

If Gilmour couldn’t accept the fact that Waters was the mastermind behind the “Floyd,” then it’s his loss, and the loss of the millions of fans who expect the depth that they put down their $8.99 for.

As for me, the answer to the question: “Which one’s Pink?” is obvious--Roger Waters.
