Sheldahl Agrees to Sell Irvine-Based Subsidiary

Sheldahl Inc. of Northfield, Minn., said it has agreed in principle to sell its Symbolic Displays Inc. subsidiary in Irvine. Symbolic, which manufactures display panels and instruments for the aerospace industry, would be acquired by Transicoil Inc. of Worcester, Pa., for an undisclosed sum.
