A car plowed into a Birmingham, Ala., fast-food restaurant, injuring at least four people in what appeared to be the continuation of a dispute at a high school football game, police said. One teen-ager lost a leg as a result of the crash. The male driver of the car ran away after the crash, and police said they were searching for him and a second suspect, but no arrests had been made. The car crashed through the glass double doors of the restaurant and plowed into a crowd of 11 youngsters and adults in the lobby, Birmingham police Sgt. Andy Willis said. “Right now we’re treating this as a traffic accident,” Willis said. “We don’t know if he was attempting to run over one of the individuals he was having an altercation with.”
