A First Interstate Bank branch was robbed Tuesday by a man who simulated having a gun, authorities said.
Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson said the robber, wearing a yellow hat, entered the branch bank in the 24000 block of El Toro Road about 3:30 p.m.
Olson said the man took an unknown amount of cash before running in the direction of Laguna Hills Mall.
The suspect was described as being in his mid-20s, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, Olson said. An investigation is continuing.
