West German police have arrested a suspect in Frankfurt in connection with the shooting deaths of two police officers at a protest at Rhein-Main Airport, in which nine other officers were wounded, a spokesman for the federal prosecutor’s office said. Three others were detained for questioning, but he did not elaborate. The protesters--led by hooded activists known as “chaotics”--were demonstrating against a new airport runway when a battle with police erupted.
