Escapee Guilty in Kidnaping
Escaped convict Jimmy Kinslow was found guilty today of kidnaping an Arizona family and molesting their youngest daughter.
Kinslow, who had denied the sexual assault allegation in an 11-count indictment, admitted that he took the family of five on a terror-filled trip from Arizona to California during his flight. The all-male Los Angeles jury took less than two hours to find Kinslow guilty of kidnaping, transporting a minor across state lines for sexual purposes and illegally possessing an arsenal of weapons. U.S. District Judge Manuel Real set Kinslow’s sentencing for Nov. 23.
