5,000 May Have Eaten Tainted Commercial Ice

ATLANTA —
More than 5,000 people in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey may have become ill from ice produced by a manufacturer whose wells were contaminated by floodwaters from a creek, federal health officials said Thursday. The manufacturer, which was not identified, recalled the ice produced after the flooding, the national Centers for Disease Control said.
