Mother’s Boyfriend Held; Son Riddled by 36 Bullet Holes

NEW YORK —
A man who was sleeping after a crack-smoking session with his girlfriend awoke and killed her 3-year-old son, who was found with 36 bullet holes from submachine gun fire, police said.
Officers said they stormed the house after a 2 1/2-hour standoff and took Darren Bradford into custody.
They said that the couple had gone to bed after using the solidified cocaine all day and when Bradford awoke, he began shooting at the child’s bed. The mother fled.
