Ivanhoe Acquisition Corp. has announced that as a result of the continuing litigation in the Delaware Supreme Court, Ivanhoe has extended its cash tender offer for 28 million shares of Newmont Mining Corp. common stock until Nov. 19. Amarillo, Tex.-based Ivanhoe’s offer had been scheduled to expire Nov. 12. By the close of business Nov. 11, approximately 8.4 million shares had been deposited with the depositary for the offer and not withdrawn.
