Klatt Gets 10-Day Suspension

Los Angeles Police Officer Kelly (Clickety) Klatt, 34--accused of attending a hot tub party with a young woman while on duty--was suspended from duty this morning for 10 days without pay after being found guilty of just one of the four departmental charges against him.

A Police Department board of rights convicted Klatt of the only charge to which he pleaded guilty--”converting an on-duty contact into a personal relationship.” Klatt was cleared of charges that he had sexual relations with Laura Ann Bisho, 23, who told the board a bizarre tale of sexual exploits with Klatt and a host of law enforcement officers from various Southland cities. Klatt’s partner, John Nichols, was cleared by the board of four similar charges on Thursday.
