College Roundup : Bell, Wood Pace UCI in Water Polo

Tony Bell scored four goals and Kevin Wood added three to lead UC Irvine to a 13-9 victory over Fresno State in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. water polo match at Heritage Park in Irvine Friday.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 3, Irvine 0--The Mustangs, ranked 14th in the nation, defeated Irvine, 15-3, 15-3, 15-6, at Irvine’s Crawford Hall. Theresa Smith led San Luis Obispo (17-10, 9-8) with five aces, and Kim Collins led Irvine (9-15, 4-13) with seven kills.
