Office Market in Kearny Mesa Tops Mission Valley

Kearny Mesa has edged out Mission Valley as San Diego’s second largest office market, according to a survey by Grubb & Ellis.

With 4 million square feet of office space, Kearny Mesa is second only to downtown San Diego, with 6.8 million square feet. Mission Valley ranks third with 3.7 million square feet, according to Mike Philbin of the realty firm’s San Diego office.

“Kearny Mesa has always been a strong, high-demand marketplace for office and industrial space because of its central location and access to all major freeways,” he said.
