Workers at the Presidio day-care center in San Francisco will be investigated in connection with what inspectors charge were serious health code violations that forced the decision to close the center, Army officials said. Presidio spokesman Bob Mahoney said plans announced Saturday to close the Presidio Child Development Center on Nov. 20 were not related to criminal charges filed in September against former employee Gary Hambright. Hambright is charged with molesting 10 boys and girls.
