New Ramada Discount Available Worldwide

Share

Ramada Hotels has begun a 30/30 discount program offering 30% off regular rates to travelers who book a month or more (up to 60 days) in advance. The program will be in effect until the end of 1988.

More than 300 Ramada properties throughout the world are participating in the program, but check when making reservations to be sure that your intended property is involved.

There may be blackouts on holidays and other periods, depending on the individual hotel. Rooms in this program are also on a space-available basis.

You have to pay for at least the first night’s stay within seven days of making the reservation, but may cancel up to seven days before your date of arrival without losing your deposit.

Under an accelerated version of its “Share in America” bond program launched at the beginning of this year, four Stouffer Concourse hotels at airports in Denver, Washington, D.C., St. Louis and Los Angeles are offering certificates redeemable for a $50 U.S. Savings Bond if you stay one night. This offer is good until Dec. 30.

The original program, still going until Dec. 30, included an offer providing certificates for a $50 bond if you stay three nights at most Stouffer properties. The nights don’t have to be on a consecutive-night basis, or at the same hotel.

The use of an American Express credit card in booking a Two For Breakfast Weekend at many Marriott hotels can now get you some extra breaks on subsequent weekend reservations.

If you charge your first weekend on the card before Dec. 27, you save $10 a night on future weekend stays plus 25% off dinner at the hotel restaurant. This offer is good at participating properties throughout the country through March 27, 1988.

Marriott’s Two for Breakfast Weekends are usually from $49 to $89 a night, not per person. While four or perhaps five people, depending on the property, might be able to stay in the room at the same rate, the breakfast portion is only for two people. Others would have to pay for their breakfasts, though children 12 and under can have breakfast for $1.95.

If you have to cancel a reservation made with your credit card, do it before 6 p.m. (4 p.m. for resort hotels) at the hotel’s local time to avoid being billed for the first night.
