Drewry Photocolor Profit Rises 500% in 2nd Quarter

Drewry Photocolor Corp. said its profit for the second quarter ended Oct. 24 rose more than 500% to $583,678, or 99 cents a share, compared to $94,657, or 16 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue was up 15% to $8.2 million, compared to $7.1 million a year earlier.

For the six months ended Oct. 24, the company reported revenue of $16.7 million and a profit of $1.2 million, or $2.01 a share. In the same period a year earlier, Drewry had revenue of $14.3 million and a profit of $135,405, or 23 cents a share.
