Rohr Industries of Chula Vista reported that net income rose by 2% to $7.2 million for the first fiscal 1988 quarter ended Nov. 1, up from $7 million during the first quarter of the previous year. Revenue rose by 1% to $202.6 million, up from $200.3 million during the comparable quarter a year earlier.

Commercial business accounted for 63% of Rohr’s revenue, with government programs generating the rest.
