The cities of Orange and San Clemente do not pay employees’ portion toward retirement benefits, while remaining cities pay an average of 7%.

Placentia’s former city manager received $69,612 at the time of his resignation Nov. 5. No action has been taken by City Council to fill the position.

The Westminster city manager position has been vacant since April 1986. The former official received $72,456 annually.
