600,000 Visit Baja Region

TIJUANA, Mexico —
An estimated 600,000 U.S. tourists are visiting the northwestern state of Baja California during the four-day Thanksgiving weekend, Jose Luis Rendon Beltran, the state director of tourism, said Saturday. They are expected to spend $40 million over the long weekend.
