Parking Meters on Tracks Derail Train; No One Hurt

WESTBURY, N.Y. —
Looters apparently hoping to crack open two parking meters by placing them on train tracks caused a Long Island Rail Road train carrying 200 passengers to derail, officials said. No injuries were reported among the passengers or crew aboard the train that derailed Friday, a spokesman said. Train service was restored Saturday.
