McGraw-Hill agreed to buy a group of aerospace and defense publications from Rupert Murdoch’s News America Publishing Inc. and a related firm for an undisclosed price. Included in the deal, which is expected to be completed by Dec. 15, are two monthly magazines, Business & Commercial Aviation and A-C Flyer; the semiannual World Aviation Directory & Buyers Guide; five newsletters that focus on various aspects of the aviation and defense business and two computer-delivered information services.
