ROME —
The Ministry of Public Works on Wednesday told its employees that they can take only one coffee break a day and that they shouldn’t hang around the halls.
The coffee break cannot exceed 20 minutes and must be taken between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the ministry’s coffee bar, Under Secretary Raffaele Costa said.
Surprise checks are also anticipated under the order to see whether workers are where they should be.
