Fullerton’s Turner Out at Least Two Weeks

Share

Cal State Fullerton, winless in its first two games, will be without second-leading scorer Henry Turner tonight when the Titans play host to Portland, winless in three games, at 7:35 in Titan Gym.

Turner, who averaged 15 points last season, suffered torn ligaments in his right foot in a loss to Weber State Friday and is out for at least two weeks.

Richard Morton has been the Titans’ scoring leader this season with a 24.5-point average but is shooting only 38%.

Fullerton also is searching for better play inside from John Sykes, Oval Miller, Bobby Adair and Vincent Blow, who have shared the center and power forward positions. Only Miller has scored in double figures this season, and all four have had foul problems.
