McLaughlin OKd for Labor Post

WASHINGTON — The Senate today unanimously approved President Reagan’s nomination of Ann Dore McLaughlin, a former undersecretary of the Interior, to be secretary of labor.
McLaughlin, 46, succeeds William E. Brock III, who resigned as labor secretary in October to manage the presidential campaign of Senate Republican leader Bob Dole of Kansas. The Senate approved her nomination on a 94-0 roll call vote.
