Bruin Women Play BYU in Volleyball Regional Semifinal

The UCLA women’s volleyball team, 28-9 and ranked fifth in the nation, will meet fourth-ranked Brigham Young (33-4) tonight at 8 in the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. West Regional semifinals at Stanford.
Third-ranked Stanford (26-6) will face sixth-ranked Colorado State (27-5) in the other semifinal at 6 p.m.
The winner of the West Regional will advance to the Final Four Dec. 17 and 19 in Indianapolis.
Other regionals:
NORTHWEST (at Honolulu): Hawaii vs. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, San Jose State vs. Pacific.
MIDEAST (at Champaign, Ill.): Illinois vs. Western Michigan, Purdue vs. Nebraska.
SOUTH (at Austin, Tex.): Texas vs. Florida, Texas Arlington vs. Kentucky.
