What could possibly be wrong with the church trying to help people in need? This has been the church’s role for centuries.
I’m sure most gays would argue that they are not in need and consequently don’t need organizations like Desert Stream cooking and caring for sick members of their community. The fact remains that these people are offering both physical and spiritual help.
