“Aryan Nations Hour” the controversial neo-Nazi radio talk show in West Jordan, Utah, was canceled this week, after only two broadcasts. KZZI-AM station manager John Hinton said that--since deciding last month to air the program--he had lost virtually all of his station’s advertisers, reported the Associated Press. Show host Dwight McCarthy, who paid Hinton $100 a program for air time, launched the weekly broadcast by interviewing the Rev. Richard Butler, leader of the Idaho-based Aryan Nations. McCarthy blamed a “liberal-Marxist-homosexual-Zionist coalition” for the show’s cancellation. In Los Angeles, Rabbi Abraham Cooper at the Simon Wiesenthal Center said Wednesday that he was “very pleased” with the show’s termination, adding that “it was the massive outpouring of concern and outrage about such a hateful show that wound up defeating it.”
