- All eyes will be on Tim Curry when he takes to the stage of the Civic Theatre on Tuesday for a two-week engagement in “Me and My Girl.” But San Diego-born Jamie Torcellini, who plays a couple of minor roles when Curry is in the limelight, is waiting for his big chance.

Torcellini was tagged to understudy Curry’s toe-tappin’ role. So far, Torcellini has had to remain in the shadows, but there’s always a chance he will appear during the run.
