- Holiday shoppers short on cash can now buy art on credit, with the new “Mayfair GoldCard.” Good only at the Mayfair Gallery in Encinitas, the GoldCard program allows qualified applicants to establish a credit line of up to $5,000 on the purchase of prints, sculptures and paintings. The Mayfair Gallery carries work by Chagall, Miro, Picasso, Hockney and others.
