Abu Nidal’s Palestinian terrorist group announced the executions of five people, including a woman, for plotting against it. In a statement issued in Muslim West Beirut, Nidal’s Revolutionary Council of Fatah charged that the five worked for Jordanian and Israeli intelligence agencies. It did not say where the executions took place. Abu Nidal’s Libyan-funded group has been blamed for several terrorist attacks in Arab countries and Europe, including the 1985 massacres at Rome and Vienna airports in which 20 people died.
