The La Jolla Playhouse production of “A Walk in the Woods” will play at Duke University in North Carolina for a two-week preview before heading for Broadway’s Booth Theatre Feb. 28. Sam (“The Killing Fields”) Waterston and Robert (“Hill Street Blues”) Prosky will replace Lawrence Pressman and Michael Constantine as the U.S. and Soviet arms negotiators, respectively. According to the Playhouse, Pressman, who was nominated for a San Diego Critics Circle award for his performance, and Constantine, who won one for his, were under consideration to reprise their parts until the last decision was made.
