Reagan Invites Egypt’s Mubarak for Official Visit

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan has invited Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to make a state visit to Washington on Jan. 28, a White House spokesman said Tuesday, and the rising tension in Israel’s occupied territories is expected to be high on the agenda.
The leaders are expected to discuss the overall Middle East situation and the tensions among Palestinians under Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as ways to bring an end to the Iran-Iraq War.
