What if John F. Kennedy had survived the Dallas assassination? ABC will speculate on that question with “Promises to Keep,” a miniseries in development based on the soon-to-be-published book of the same title. The George Bernau novel, which explores the possibilities of Kennedy’s life had he survived, recently set a publishing record with its reported $750,000 advance.
