Fullerton Women Defeat Irvine

The Cal State Fullerton women’s basketball team shot only 37% from the floor Thursday, but that was enough to beat UC Irvine, 58-48, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game at Titan Gym.

Fullerton limited Irvine’s leading scorer, Natalie Crawford, to two points. Fullerton (1-1, 6-5) was led in scoring by Amy Torczon (12 points). Irvine (1-2, 3-8) was led by Jenny Lee and Cheryl Hoffman (11 points).
