Kerosene Thrown in Stove Explodes, Killing Five

KINGSTREE, S.C. —
Five people were killed when one of them apparently threw kerosene into a wood-burning stove to make it burn hotter, sending an exploding fireball through a suburban home, authorities said. A boy, 17, and a girl, 4, survived the blast Thursday.
