We’ve been hearing about the Hollywood Reporter’s plans to hit the airwaves and finally the trade paper’s hit on a way to do it--it’s co-producing its own show with the Movietime cable channel. “The Hollywood Reporter Executive Report” debuts on Jan. 18, and thereafter Sunday and Monday evenings, on Movietime.

Movietime’s chief exec Alan Mruvka insists it won’t be an “Entertainment Tonight” clone, but an “insiders’ ” half-hour chat with other insiders. Reporter Editor Teri Ritzer and columnist Martin Grove will ask questions and discuss current Hollywood topics with guests. One-time journalist David Friendly, now a v.p. at Imagine Films, will moderate the first show.
