Oil Spill Hits Dutch Shore

THE HAGUE — Authorities Monday began cleaning up an 18-mile stretch of beach blackened by the worst oil spill off the Netherlands in years. Thousands of sea birds are threatened by the spill, the source of which has not been determined.
