OAKDALE, La. —
About two dozen federal prisoners will move into the Federal Detention Center this week to help clean up and repair damage from the nine-day insurrection of Cuban inmates in November, a prison official said Monday.
The Cubans burned much of the medium-security facility and most of it must be rebuilt. Officials said the prisoners who will assist in the cleanup are Americans from minimum-security facilities.
