South Coast Repertory Theatre’s “Misalliance” and “Three Postcards” and Grove Theatre Company’s “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” won 1987 Outstanding Production Awards from Drama-Logue. Altogether, the Hollywood casting weekly’s critics gave SCR 25 awards and Grove 20, including directing honors to SCR’s Martin Benson and David Emmes and Grove’s Daniel Bryan Cartmell. Opera Pacific’s “West Side Story” was cited for lighting and choreography, while Southampton Dinner Theatre in San Clemente was given three performance honors.
