The Worst of Rock
It’s a sad, sad day for rock ‘n’ roll when a great album like Mick Jagger’s “Primitive Cool” is on the worst list, along with non-talent, non-singers like Cher, Samantha “Pin Up” Fox and the awful Bruno, just to name a few (Pop Eye, by Patrick Goldstein, Jan. 10).
I guess if you’re not Bono, Bruce, Sting or Michael Jackson, you deserve to be kicked into the ground with the worst of the worst. Then again, what can we expect in a year when the biggest selling album was Bon Jovi’s “Slippery When Wet”?
Sorry, Mick, your brillance and talent just ain’t appreciated in this town. A sad day, indeed.
