Two long-lost songs written by rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Buddy Holly will be recorded this week in Nashville by the pop-country band Razorback. The songs, “Am I Ever Gonna Find It” and the other untitled, were written just before Holly died in a plane crash in 1959, a Razorback spokesman said. Producer Scott Turner of Nashville collaborated with Holly in writing the songs, found in the inside cover of Turner’s guitar case in 1980. Turner was about to throw out the case when he discovered the music. Turner and Holly’s widow, Maria, have decided to let the six-member band record the songs, which Turner will produce. The songs have never been recorded. The untitled song will be christened this week and the first of the two should be released next month.
