Local News in Brief : Researchers Honored

Two researchers into birth defects at the Research and Education Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance have received awards totaling $30,000 from the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation. Recipients are Dr. J. Usha Raj and Dr. Michael G. Ross. The awards are designed for young physicians or Ph.D.’s interested in careers with a substantial commitment to birth-defects research.
